New this year - Informal water work sessions to either practice water training skills or to introduce your dog to water.
Lisa Medeiros and friends have reserved waterfront time at YMCA Camp Lyndon in Sandwich for several weekday evenings this summer from 5:00 to 7:00 pm (or later). There are limited spots available as shown below and she wanted to offer them to Mayflower PWD Club members. If this program appeals to members, we will look into expanding it next year.
What: Though there is no formal training at these sessions, there will always be someone with PWD water experience to assist. Sessions are limited to 4 participants allowing at least 30 minutes total in the water. Participants are encouraged to help others during the training sessions. The beach area is small but private. There will be a rowboat and platforms available.
Cost: $30/session. Rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe (thunder/lightning) where a make-up date will then be scheduled.
